Super Dragon Ball Heroes Gets a Western Release Date

Bandai Namco recently announced that Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission is headed to the Nintendo Switch and PC. This is big news for DBZ fans as it marks the first time a Heroes title is released outside of Japan.

Like the previous Hero titles, fans will take on the role of Beat – an amateur Dragon Ball Hero card player living in an alternate reality to DBZ’s universe. When his journey to become a champion is interrupted by villains from multiple Dragon Ball games, he’s forced to take his tactical skills into the virtual world; players will team up with classic and new characters in order restore the peace.

It’s an interesting premise. I’m not sure if it’ll be as popular as say Dragon Ball FighterZ. It will provide a nice change from the normal punching, kicking and Ki blasts. It’ll also be nice to see characters from multiple games – Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Dragon Ball GT, and more – in one place.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission will be available on April 5th on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Be sure to check back here as we continue to cover this title!
