Techland Reveals Price Change for Dying Light Expansion!

Techland announced today that they are changing the price of Dying Light’s Season Pass/The Following expansion. The reason – it would seem that The Following is a bigger expansion than expected!

The Following is in the final stages, only needing a bit of polish before being launched. After standing back and looking at what they created, Techland feels that The Following could actually be a standalone title. So they’re upping its price to $19.99. This also changes the price of the season pass (seeing as it includes this expansion) from $19.99 to $29.99 starting December 8th.

Personally, I see this as good news. For one, we won’t have to worry about getting a Dying Light 1.5 or anything similar to Dead Island Riptide. This expansion will just be that…an expansion. The other good news is that the price won’t change until December 8th. Meaning that gamers still have time to buy the season pass/The Following at the normal price; Techland is actually giving you time to think things over. Nice!
