The Misfits Bolster Friday The 13th’s Soundtrack!

Gun Media recently announced that the Misfits has lent their musical talents to the upcoming Friday the 13th video game. Their song “Friday the 13th”, a tribute to 80’s horror/slasher films, has been added to the game’s soundtrack…

“The inclusion of this track is a dream come true for fans of the genre” said Ronnie Hobbs, Co-Creator of Friday the 13th: The Game. “Like many kids, The Misfits were a huge part of our childhood, so it’s an honor to be working alongside those guys”.

Gun also revealed the first look at Jason as portrayed in Jason Lives: Firday the 13th Part VI. Coming equipped with throwing knives and a spear-like weapon, he’s every bit as frightening as his movie counterpart. Check him out below to see what I mean:

Friday the 13th: The Game will be released early this year on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A single player mode will be added sometime this summer. We’ll of course keep you updated as things progress!
