Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Ubisoft officially revealed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla today. Releasing later this year, the next installment of this popular franchise places fans in the shows of a Viking raider…
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla follows the exploits of Eivor as he (or she) leads their clan of Norsemen across the North Sea. Apparently, the constant fighting in Norway drove them out. Things didn’t weren’t much better when they landed in England; King Alfred of Wessex sees them as heathens and a possible threat to this throne.
Fighting the Saxons is only part of it. Players will also have to go on raids, grow their settlement, and expand their influence across the land. Every choice they make will influence the world around them.
Beyond fighting and acquiring land/resources, players will be able to customize Eivor. Like in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, they’ll be able to pick a male or female version of the character. There will also be able to change their hair, tattoos, clothing, war paint and more.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla looks rather interesting. Coming this Holiday to the multiple platforms – including the Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC, exclusively on Epic and Ubisoft’s game stores – the game seems poised to be well received. That is, if the gameplay is as fun as it sounds.
Edit: The original article incorrectly compared Valhalla’s gender options with that of Origins. It should have been Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. We’ve since corrected this error.
