Ubisoft Reveals Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Ghost War

Ubisoft recently unveiled Ghost War, the PvP mode for the upcoming Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This new competitive offering will focus on tactical squad play. Players will need to work together if they hope to be successful…

Ghost War will offer two sub modes: Elimination and Sabotage. Both will allow two teams of four to go at it, just with slightly different goals in mind. Elimination is basically Team Death match, only with a shrinking combat zone (like in battle royale games) that forces players to engage one another.

Sabotage is an asymmetrical bomb mode where attackers have to plant/detonate a bomb at certain locations on map while defenders try to stop them.

Ghost War will feature Breakpoint’s new cover mechanics, changeable terrain, and injury system. It’ll also allow for an integrated experience; players will share their progression, keeping their unlocked classes, skills and such across both PvP and PvE modes.

Ubisoft is planning to launch Breakpoint’s beta next month – it’ll run from September 5th to the 8th. Fans looking to sign up can do so here. Just be sure to come back for more game related news!

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will launch for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 4th.
