Watch Gearbox’s Borderlands 3 Gameplay Reveal Here

Update: Borderlands 3 looks like more of the same, but in a good way. Fans will still blast enemies in face (there deaths punctuated by raining loot) while traversing the hostile planet of Pandora. That said, new elements – like more bosses, the ability to slide and climb, balancing features for gamers playing with lower leveled friends, awesome weapons and more – help in making if feel like the best title in the franchise. It seems promising, to say the least.

Original Post: Gearbox is looking to garner more hype for their upcoming looter shooter, Borderlands 3, by showing off some gameplay. Done via today’s live stream, the devs will (assumedly) showcase the new vault hunters, provide a context to the shooting, and simulate what it feels like to unlock some sweet loot.

The live stream will be hosted today at 10am PDT/1pm EDT on the Borderlands website and Twitch channel. We’ve embedded the stream below for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to watch with us as Gearbox plays one the year’s highly anticipated titles.

I’m looking forward to this event. As someone who’s grown weary of this genre, I’m hoping to see something grand. Or at the very least, something that doesn’t resemble a “games as a service” title. Whatever the case, I’ll be sure to share my thoughts here and on Twitter!
