Wolfenstein: Youngblood Gets Another Free Update

MachineGames recently released another patch for Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Called Update 1.0.7, it adds new missions, abilities, skins and more.

This update adds a decent amount of content to Youngblood. The major additions have to do with the new Treasure Hunt mission, tasking players with finding a second Da’at Yichud Chamber – a vault containing knowledge/inventions made by a Jewish secret society – before the Nazis do.

This endgame mission is tough – MachineGames suggests players be at level 40 before taking it on. Once that mission is complete though, they’ll unlock a new mission type called Treasure Maps. This’ll allow players to hunt Da’at Yichud Artifacts using found maps they’ve found on their travels.

Of course, with new missions comes new enemies and player abilities (to balance things out). All of it is to get fans to return to Youngblood. Considering that the updates have all been free, I’m not mad at MachineGames.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a multiplayer FPS that acts as a bridge between Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and (a possible) Wolfenstein 3. We thought the game failed to live up to the previous entries in the series. That was before all of the patches and updates.
