Yakuza 0 is Coming Early Next Year!

SEGA has announced that Yakuza 0, a prequel to the Yakuza series, is coming to North America early next year…

First released in Japan on March 12, 2015, the game follows the exploits of a young Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima – two of the series’ mainstays – during the 1980’s. While Kazuma works his way up the ranks of the Dojima Yakuza, Goro is running a popular cabaret in Osaka. Things seem to be going ok until Kazuma is blamed for a debt collection gone wrong; he’ll have to fight his way to the truth if he’s going to regain his honor. In Goro’s case, he’s looking to rejoin the Yakuza clan that ousted him. Both will utilize their ability to punch out multiple opponents as their paths converge. Oh, and they’ll do a little dancing too.

Yakuza 0 will be available in the Americas and Europe on January 24th, 2017, exclusively on the PS4. Be sure to check back here as we continue to follow this title!
