Final Fantasy VII Remake Gets a Release Date

It’s finally happened. Final Fantasy VII Remake got a release date. Not a release month or a release window. But a full-fledged release date…which could be pushed back at a moment’s notice.

Jokes aside, we were happy to hear that FFVII Remake was coming new March. Fans have been clamoring for an official update of the game’s status since it was announced back in 2015. I mean, sure. We got some screenshots, a couple of trailers – showcasing the same early moments of the game – but nothing on terms of how it’ll play or when it’s coming. That all changed during Square Enix’s E3 Press event.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available on March 3rd, 2020 for the PS4. An interesting note: Square said it would first appear on the PS4, meaning it’ll eventually land on other platforms. My guess, it’ll end up on the Xbox One next, with a Switch and PC version to follow.
