Borderlands 2 is Getting the VR Treatment

2K and Gearbox announced Borderlands 2 VR today. Coming to the PlayStation VR this December, fans will get to dive into this crazy shooter in an all new way…

I know what you’re thinking. It’s not the announcement we were hoping for. And by that, I mean most expected this to be Gearbox’s unveiling of Borderlands 3. I’m sure they’re working on a sequel. That said, Borderlands 2 VR is pretty cool; the idea was to celebration the 10th anniversary of the series as well as dabble in the current VR craze.

Hopefully, the game will be just as exciting as it was when it released years ago. At the very least it’ll give Borderland fans something to do while they wait on the inevitable sequel.

Borderlands 2 VR will be released on the PlayStation VR on December 14th, at a suggested retail price of $49.99.
