Deck 13 Releases The Surge 2’s First Gameplay Trailer!

Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13 released the first gameplay footage of their upcoming action RPG, The Surge 2. Showcasing a new environment and The Hunters (a new enemy type), the trailer offers a brief look at what gamers should expect come next year.

Deck 13 has upgraded the combat by offering streamlining some of the gameplay mechanics. They also added more weapons, abilities, implants in addition to improving enemy AI. Basically, it’ll deliver more of what gamers loved about the first while adding to or improving everything else.

There’s still no word on a proper release date beyond the “2019” placeholder. With everything dropping in the first few months of the year, I’m hoping that Deck 13 pushes it towards the middle.
