Discord Reveals The First Games Coming to its Store

Discord has officially jumped into the PC gaming store lane today. Or rather, they did last month but it was in its Beta phase and only available in Canada. Today though, they’ve announced the first games that’ll arrive exclusively in their store…

These “First on Discord” titles will be available this autumn when the Discord Store launches. Seven in all, the games range from a crazy multiplayer game where players try to crush their rivals’ hats (King of the Hat) to a boss battling title where a soldier goes to war with enemies based on the seven deadly sins (Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption). The most notable entry – for me anyways – is the asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game, Last Year: The Nightmare. Each game will stay on Discord’s store for a brief period before being released on other platforms. Well, all of them but Bad North as it’s already available on the Nintendo Switch.

I’m looking forward to the Discord Store’s launch. Considering they’re looking to support indie titles that push the boundary of creative game design, there’s sure to be some gems worth checking out.
