Dishonored Drops This October!

Bethesda has finally done it! No…there is no word on a new Doom. No, they’ve announced the release date for their upcoming game, Dishonored. This highly anticipated title will drop on October 9th (October 12th in Europe) for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC!

“We are pleased that Dishonored has captured people’s attention,” said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. “We are looking forward to sharing lots more information about the game leading up to its launch in October, and having a hands-on build of Dishonored in our booth at E3!”

They should be pleased; featuring a cool revenge story, great graphics, a flexible combat system (using magic, weapons, and gadgets), and various mission outcomes based on your choices makes Dishonored look like the game to beat! My only question is with so many titles coming out this year, will this game stand out? It’s a new IP after all. Hopefully it won’t drown in the sea of titles being released. If anything, a good E3 showing could put it on top of people’s radars. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see!
