Ryse: Son of Rome is a third-person, action/hack and slash game. Developed by Crytek, Ryse was originally set to be a first-person Kinect title for the Xbox 360. Things changed – Ryse became a third-person title with very little Kinect functionality before being released on the Xbox One. It follows the story of a Roman centurion, Marius Titus, who seeks to avenge his murdered family.
