Grand Theft Auto V Gets First Person Experience!

We all heard the rumor about at first person mode coming to the current gen versions of GTA V. Most were skeptical (including me) on whether or not it could work in a game that was naturally third person. After seeing what Rockstar has done though, I’m glade to say that the Grand Theft Auto V: First Person Experience looks amazing!

Rockstar Games has implemented tons of new animations, a new control scheme, and more to make the first person experience rock. Not only that, they also made it possible to switch between the normal and first person views at the press of a button. You can even set it to switch at certain moments, like entering and exiting cover.

Of course, for the game to stand up to scrutiny of being played in first person, they had to increase the level of detail. Hundreds of additions and enhancements have gone into the Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions including 1080p resolution at 30FPS (4K compatible on PC).

Gamers can play in first person in both the campaign and GTA Online when Grand Theft Auto V is released (November 18th for Xbox One and PS4 and January 27th, 2015 on PC). Be sure to check back here as we continue to cover this highly anticipated title!
