Microsoft Announces Forza Inspired Game Pass Bundle

Microsoft announced an interesting deal recently. Gamers who’ve yet to purchase Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7 can now grab them both, along with the Xbox Game Pass in a new bundle. The twist: they’ll be able to keep both titles even after their subscription expires…

That’s right. Fans of the series (or rather, those of you looking to dive in before Forza Horizon 4 is released) can get both titles and a year’s subscription to the Xbox Game Pass for $99. Once purchased, the games will be available to play via the pass. After that, within 7-10 days*, MS will send out codes to download each game to keep.

The reason why I said this deal was interesting, is because the games themselves (and one month of the pass) is the same price. Bumping it up to a year would normally cost $120 – minus the first month. So really, fans are saving on the Game Pass subscription. A smart move considering gamers typically keep the pass after a few months of activity. And with some of the hot third party titles landing on the service as of late, it’s probably the best time to entice new customers.

Gamers looking to purchase this bundle will need to do so before September 30th, as that’s when it expires. What won’t expire is our coverage of all things gaming. Ha!…yeah…that totally made sense…

*Microsoft said that the codes would “likely” appear within 7-10 days. They also said, gamers would get them no later than October 21st, after Forza Horizon 4 launches on October 4th. This shouldn’t be an issue considering the pass also gives them access to that title as well.
