Nintendo Announces Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3’s Release Date

Nintendo revealed the release date for the highly anticipated superhero game, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, today. Fans will be able to battle villains alongside their friends come July…

Fans have been eagerly waiting for more news on this title. Ever since its shocking reveal last December, they’ve wanted to know about the cast of heroes, get plot details, and so on. So far, we’ve gotten a brief premise about how Thanos and his Black Order are looking to acquire the Infinity Gems. We also learned that the heroes that make up the Avengers, X-Men, and Guardians of the Galaxy are tasked with stopping them. This information of course came with gameplay details – the game will allow for local and online cooperative play, where up to four people can try to save the universe together.

Today, we got a little bit more information. Like in how the game will feature characters like Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Iron-Fist and Spider-Gwen. Or how it’ll be released on July 19th, exclusively for the Switch.

I’m sure we’ll get more trailers and such as we get closer to launch; with E3 coming up, the game will probably be featured in a Direct video.
