The Banner Saga: Warbands Kickstarter Launches/Succeeds!

Stoic and MegaCon Games shared more details about The Banner Saga: Warbands as the official Kickstarter launches. Based on the critically acclaimed video game, this miniatures board game will allow gamers another avenue to experience this building franchise.

Warbands is a cooperative board game for 2-4 players that deals with the difficulties and consequences of decision making (just like the game). It’ll feature 30 plastic miniatures, a world map, player boards and several card sets – all of which look downright snazzy.

Because “quality”, it didn’t take long for Stoic to hit their $50,000 goal. So you won’t hear us urging you to pledge outside helping them meet their stretch goals (and maybe to receive exclusives like the special Warband miniature only made available via the Kickstarter). This is also where you can pre-order the forthcoming Banner Saga 2 with a 10% discount.
