Watch Microsoft’s Inside Xbox/Gamescom Event Here!

Update:

There you have it folks. Microsoft had a lot to say about upcoming titles, new console bundles and such. Just like they said they would. In our efforts to share that information, we went ahead a listed some of the highlights…

We updated this article with an archived video of the event below for anyone who missed it earlier.

One of the biggest reveals were the many bundles coming later this year. Eight in total, the stand outs where the Xbox One X Gold Rush Special Edition Battlefield V bundle, The Shadow of the Tomb Raider Xbox One bundle, and the Xbox One X Fallout 76 Bundle. All of them came packaged with the aforementioned games, a 1TB hard drive, some form of free service – between fourteen days and one month of Xbox Live Gold and one month of Xbox Game Pass – and costing $500 each. The Battlefield bundle also came with the deluxe edition of the game and a Xbox One X sporting a nice dark gray to gold design.

Both Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 are getting new DLC (one free and one paid for, respectfully). Sea of Thieves will be getting the The Forsaken Shores expansion on September 19th. It features new environmental hazards (like volcanoes and geysers), a new location to explore and more. State of Decay 2 will be getting its Daybreak Pack on September 12th. This content includes an all-new siege defense game mode, allowing players to complete missions and earn rewards. It’ll feature new weapons, explosive and otherwise.

Beyond those things came a few good trailers for some third-party titles (Devil May Cry 5!), new Xbox controller design options and the announcement that Hunt: Showdown is coming to Xbox One. Of course, Microsoft had more to say what I’ve just listed. Thankfully, for those who missed the event, I’ve embeded the archived video for your viewing pleasure below!
