While I have you here though, let me just say how excited I am to unveil the new site. The point of moving was to better deliver on our promise of being a staple in the video game industry. A place where passionate gamers can connect with one another about their favorite pastime. And, you know, read our thoughts on the latest and greatest games. UFG 2.0 (working title) will allow us to do just that by offering better flexibility, an updated UI, extra features – there’s a snazzy mobile version for the on-the-go reader – and more.

One thing you’ll notice while perusing the site are the gaps in our video game coverage. This is due to a couple things. The main issue though, was the difficulty of maintaining two sites. Trying to keep the past version up to date while also moving content to the new version proved a bit daunting. So, we made the decision in 2017 to limit our writing in order to focus on transferring our years of gaming content. This meant that we’d end up missing out on some major gaming news/events; it’s one of the reasons why we didn’t get to finish our E3 2018 recap. It also meant that we’d have to forgo reviewing a ton of games. Thankfully, all of that changes today!

I don’t want to take up too much of your time with a long drawn out speech. Boring you by thanking God, my wife, family, friends and the readers (you) for supporting us throughout the years. All while also recognizing companies like Rockstar Games, Activision, SEGA, and Bethesda for working with us even though we weren’t able to fully cover their games. This done right before shouting out Mythlogic for providing us with PCs and laptops. Nope. Not going to do anything of that. Instead, I’m just going to say thank you. Thank you and welcome to the new UFG!
