World War Z Sells Nearly 2 Million Copies Since Launch

World War Z is selling like hot cakes. The cooperative shooter has already sold nearly 2 million copies globally. It’s only be out a month, give or take a few days.

We thought the game was pretty good – its explosive zombie action channels Left 4 Dead in entertaining ways. Apparently, we weren’t the only players having a good time…

Saber Interactive isn’t done though. They revealed their plans to add free content to WWZ in the coming months. That includes new missions, a new zombie type, weekly challenges, bone cosmetics, field of view and level of details sliders (on PC) and more. In other words, I expect fans to keep playing for the foreseeable future.

World War Z is currently available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store. Feel free to read our review (posted below) to see why its worth playing.

By all accounts, WWZ should be terrible – a third-person shooter that feels as dated as its source materials. That’s not the case here though.
