Fallout 76 Receives Another Large Patch

Bethesda released a new Fallout 76 patch today. Similar to what was released back in December, this update offers several fixes – addressing perks, weapon balancing, crafting and more – for many of the game’s issues.

Coming in at 500MB (4GB for consoles), the update lands on PC first. The idea is to test things out on the more flexible platform first. If everything looks good, the patch will come to consoles next week; that’s likely to happen regardless, with extra tweaks as needed. The patch addresses a ton of things. Some are general. Like improving the game’s stability. Others are more involved. Like changing the component quantities required to repair high level armor and weapons. All of them seem to benefit the players in some form or fashion.

So far there’s been no word on when Bethesda will release new content. That’s to be expected though, considering the shape the game was/is in. Things are improving though. Hopefully, Fallout 76 will start to resemble the game fans hoped it will be soon.
