Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the seventh Call of Duty title developed by Infinity Ward and thirteenth Call of Duty title overall. Set in the distant future, CoD: IW was to be to the series what Modern Warfare was – a revolution of sorts offering new industry staples. At least, that’s what the fans who weren’t upset about the futurist setting expected. It did offer some new elements like aerial combat – gamers would go seamlessly go from fighting on the ground to fighting in space – and exciting single/multiplayer options.
