The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan Gets a Release Date

Supermassive has finally given us a release date for the first installment of their horror anthology, Man of Medan. Fans can expect to make life or death decisions come August.

The anthology will feature different standalone survival horror titles that tasks players with guiding a group of people through a traumatizing event. Similar to Supermassive’s Until Dawn title, players have to make different choices, each affecting the cast of characters in different ways/changing the course of the story.

Though each game will be a standalone experience, they will feature connecting elements. The most notable (as of now) being the Curator – an omnipresent observer who gives players cryptic hints about what’s really going on.

Speaking of the Curator, those of you who pre-order Man of Medan will gain access to The Curator’s Cut. This alternative path through the story (unlocked once the main game has been completed) will offer a different perspective, new scenes, options and secrets. Don’t want to pre-order the game? No worries, as the Curator Cut will be made available for everyone at a later date.
