Update: Well, Nintendo didn’t disappoint. Not only were the rumors true – they announced a bunch of new games that are releasing this year – they also had a few surprises that no one saw coming. Super Mario Maker 2, Astral Chain (a new game coming from PlatinumGames) and a reimagining of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening were among the best being shown. Original Article: It’s about that time. Nintendo is scheduled to release a new Direct Video today at 2pm PT/5pm ET. The only thing we know about it is that it’s sure to showcase Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Rumor has it, however, that they are going to announced games to be released later this year!
