Hitman (2016) is an episodic stealth game developed by IO Interactive. As the sixth entry in the series, the game acts as a sequel and prequel – the prologue is a prequel to the first Hitman and the rest of the game is a sequel to Hitman: Absolution. It also featured new elements like an episodic approach (where levels are released over time), and extra content like time-limited missions added over the lifespan/between episodes.
